At the age of ten, a boating accident led to the unthinkable for a young athlete: the amputation of his right leg. His parents showed him empathy but also set his perspective for the future helping him believe he could be an Olympic Champion. Today, Jack Wallace is a 2X Paralympic Gold Medalist and 2X World Champion in Sled Hockey. He is also setting his sights on Sprint Kayak for the Paris 2024 Olympics. When he is not competing or training, he is a mentor/counselor at Camp No Limits, which introduced him to sled hockey as a child. His mindset is all about maximizing experiences and his mantra is, “You get out what you put in.”
